Is there a new disease in Congo that people should be panicking about?

Fact-checked: Exaggerated/Misleading.

There is indeed a mysterious illness, which the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is calling "disease X," according to CBS News. It has killed at least 31 people — mostly children — in the remote Panzi region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the World Health Organization said. The WHO stated the risk at a global level remains low, however, making the claim exaggerated/misleading.
