George Bush pardoned Neil and Bill Clinton pardoned Roger, so there shouldn't be an issue with Biden pardoning his son.

Did George Bush and Bill Clinton pardon family members?

Fact-checked: False.

Bill Clinton pardoned his half-brother Neil according to Axios. However, there is no record of a pardon for Neil Bush from his father, George H.W. Bush, according to a Snopes fact-check.

Somewhat true. No, there shouldn't be a problem with Biden pardoning is son. Any parent would do the same. However, the issue is rather that Biden promised he WOULDN'T as a campaign strategy. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/07/27/hunter-biden-wont-get-a-pardon-from-his-dad-president-biden/70479597007/

However, as he is on the outs from the White House, and a convicted felon is coming into office following him, the standard has clearly been lowered and why shouldn't he break his promise. Likely misinformation.
