Nikola Jokic's dominance continues in the current NBA season and he's still putting up eye catching numbers. He's currently average 31.4 points, 10.3 assists, and 13.6 rebounds while shooting 56.1% from the floor.

As I looked through the source of the claim from the article (the account who posted it), the account seemed only somewhat credible. The investigation found the account who posted it was a true reporter for a credible source, CBS Sports. Although, the account did not give any further credible background of itself or its specific experience. The link for a trusted source on the same claim/topic is below. The source is extremely credible being for a major sports broadcaster, ESPN. It talks about how Nikola Jokic is indeed a pick for MVP for the 2024-2025 season. However, it also lists multiple other possible picks, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Jalen Brunson. The original first instance of this claim/idea was when ESPN yet again made this bet for Nikola Jokic in March. This was earlier than other sources found in April and May. A source describing this is included below. The only part of this statement that is a question is in regards to how the NBA Finals are scheduled to start on June 5, 2025. This means that there is still some time left to determine which of the MVP picks listed previously have a higher chance of receiving the title.
