The claim is not accurate. Democrats did not vote to use taxpayer money to fly migrants to the U.S. The program follows the law, and people in it pay for their own travel. Back in January 2023, the Department of Homeland Security expanded a humanitarian parole program to include nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. This allows up to 30,000 individuals per month from these countries to enter the U.S. legally for up to two years, but only if they have a U.S. based sponsor such as a family.

Every Democrat did not vote to fly immigrants in, according to the website of the Senator that proposed said bill, they voted to allow a policy that, according to the Associated Press, allows immigrants with American sponsors to pay for their own travel and living in the states. The bill proposed repealed this utilizing the claim you made above.

The claim that every democrat voted to fly 320,000 illegal migrants into the US from Haiti, Cuba, Columbia on taxpayer funds, is un-true. As explained by the Washington Post article provided below, Senator Bill Hagerty made some misleading statements about a program done by the Biden Administration, saying that taxpayer dollars were paying for migrants to enter the US illegally. As mentioned by AP News, the program allows for up to 30,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela to enter the US as long as they have a financial sponsor, arrive at a specific airport, and pay for the venture themselves. The source attached to this claim seems to be a post on the social media app, BlueSky, recapping  Senator Hagerty’s statements. It is true that 320,000 migrants were authorized to come to the US last year, however, it was done legally, and not paid for with taxpayer money.

This is a misleading claim. In 2024, Donald Trump stated the same thing and cited a report from the Center for Immigration Studies, an organization known for its stance against immigration. The claim is in reference to Joe Biden's policies specifically around entering the U.S. through sponsorship. AP News states that Biden's policy allows up to 30,000 immigrants each month to enter the country so long as they have applied with a financial sponsor. Customs and Border Protection also publicly releases how many immigrants have entered the U.S. each month, so this information is not secret or part of a political conspiracy.

This claim is utterly false, with no solid factual validity. This post was made on the opinion forum Bluesky and when visiting the profile responsible for this post, you can see that all of the content and posts shared by this user have been limited and flagged for being "crude, disrespectful, and without constructive purpose". When searching deeper into the claim, I found an article by the Washington Post disputing the claim with a quote from the Department of Homeland Security stating that "more than 386,000 people from those countries had arrived lawfully in the United States and another 19,000 were vetted and authorized to travel. In other words, they are not in the country illegally, despite the rhetoric in the statements." It seems like these opinion forums such as Bluesky and X serve as echo chambers based on the confirmation bias of user's political standings, spreading misinformation and lies. Overall this claim that democrats voted for taxpayer dollars to be spent on 360,000 illegal immigrants to be placed into the inner states of the US is false and has no factual support.

This is false. This tweet was posted by a right-winged x account trying to trick people from what actually happened was that the democrats voted to allow migrants to pay for themselves to fly to the US and stay here for up to two years illegally. The bill also expanded a humanitarian parole program to include nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, allowing up to 30,000 more each month to pay themselves to come to the US

This is a false claim. While the claim was made by a senator the claim was misleading and the overall purpose was wrong. The Biden administration allows  for “up to 30,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela can enter the country monthly if they apply online with a financial sponsor and arrive at a specified airport, paying their own way.” These immigrants are not illegal as they are applying for a sort of visa to come here legally and the money is not coming from taxpayer's dollars the migrants need financial sponsors as said in the AP News article.

The claim that every democrat voted to fly 320,000 illegal migrants into the US from Haiti, Cuba, and Columbia on taxpayer funds is completely false and untrue, for many reasons. This claim uses a statement from Republican senator Hagerty shown on Fox News, where he States that are tax money is secretly being used to fly illegal immigrants over the border. The first issue with this claim is the fact that the evidence used comes from Fox News, and the person speaking is a republican. Fox News is a conservative, biased news channel that makes an effort to depict the left as corrupt and immoral, which gives the already shaky claim plenty of doubt, but the facts within the claim are also entirely false.

https://www.globalrefuge.org/news/what-is-the-chnv-parole-program/

This article from the Global Refugee Groups breaks down into depth the program the claim is talking about. The CHNV program is for migrants facing Humanatarian issues in their own countries, and gives them an opprutunity to legally enter the US temporarily under specific conditions. It does not change their immigration status, and all migrants looking to come must apply for the program and meet the specific requirements such as having someone in the US committing to support them. The migrants are also in charge of paying for their own travels, which is directly contradictory of the claim that our tax money is going towards transporting them. The actual breakdown of the CHNV program proves the claim to be completely fabricated, as all the facts about the program contradict the claim and what was said by senator Hagerty.

In this article by AP News, they highlight in the title, the false claims that Biden administration is secretly flying migrants into the country and how said claims are unfounded. In his Super Tuesday victory speech, former President Donald Trump elevated false information that had gone viral on social media, claiming the Biden administration secretly flew hundreds of thousands of migrants into the United States. This is an extremely important example of how misinformation in the media spreads like wildfire and the harm that comes with it. The claim is inaccurate, migrants are not being flown into the US randomly, “Under a Biden policy in effect since January 2023, up to 30,000 people from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela can enter the country monthly if they apply online with a financial sponsor and arrive at a specified airport, paying their own way. Biden exercised his “parole” authority, which, under a 1952 law, allows him to admit people “only on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit””.

In the article linked below, the title itself debunks this claim and the evidence provided is undeniable and concrete. “Taxpayer dollars being used to fly ‘illegal aliens’ into U.S.? Nope”, is the title of the article, letting readers know from the very start that these claims are inaccurate. Under the Biden program, people from these countries who try to cross the border without the proper paperwork are ineligible for parole and subject to expulsion. Instead, before arriving, they must receive authorization to travel to the United States and a statement of financial support from a sponsor. “As of the end of February, the Department of Homeland Security says, more than 386,000 people from those countries had arrived lawfully in the United States and another 19,000 were vetted and authorized to travel”. They are not in the country illegally, despite misleading statements.

The claim made here is not accurate. Firstly, the notion that every democrat who voted for Joe Biden also favors the issue presented is not true, obviously not everyone who voted for him had migration as their top issue. Also, while the Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans program is real, the claim that government is using taxpayer dollars to pay to fly the migrant workers out is false, they had to pay for their own flights; stated in a 2024 interview with a policy director at the American Immigration Council done by VOA.  https://www.voanews.com/a/biden-administration-rejects-claim-it-is-secretly-bringing-320-000-migrants-to-us-/7520157.html
