Ozempic is a bioterrorist attack on the Americxn People in an attempt to get us all skinny, feeble, and defenseless.  The fatter you are, the stronger you are. Because you can fall over and squish people.

According to the national institute of diabetes and digestive and kidney diseases, being overweight, such as obesity could lead to type two diabetes, high blood sugar, gout, and more. Although using ozempic when not prescribed can be bad for a person. An ozempic prescription can help people with type two diabetes manage their weight. There is no evidence that being overweight is better for a person then being at healthier or thinner weight.

The initial claim that being fat is good for you seems to be a joke or a comment made to get a reaction out of some people. You did well ignoring the odd comments made by the author and just getting to the facts. The points you made about the negative effects of obesity are true and from a trusted source. The numerous diseases that can arise from obesity that you mentioned such as diabetes and gout are something that would affect one's way of life in a very unpleasant manner and that no one would willingly choose to be subject to.

You make a really good point about the health risks of being overweight. The NIDDK site backs you up by listing serious problems like type 2 diabetes and heart disease that come from obesity. I also liked how you brought up Ozempic—it’s true that it can help people with diabetes manage their weight when prescribed. Overall, your comment clearly shows why being at a healthier weight is important.

There needs to be more of a source to back this up outside of the fact that falling on somebody while heavier would hurt them is true because gravity exists. If you wanted to make this claim have a bit more weight to it (no pun intended), perhaps reworking it into being about the negative effects of Ozempic on the human body would be more viable.

I agree with this response. There is no data to back up this claim and it is too broad. If the person that made this claim provided more evidence and reasoning behind why they think this, then it would be more believable.

This is 100 percent true. Your point of no evidence to back up their claim is exactly why this is false. Though you could've provided your own sources, you are correct with your statement.

I agree with this comment as well. With no true evidence to connect this article, there isn't anything to prove that it being bigger is better. I think having a link connected to a trusted healthcare website would support the claim.

I agree with what you are saying because while the idea makes sense logically, there definitely needs to be more evidence or research to fully support the claim. Just saying that heavier people falling would hurt more because of gravity is not enough to prove the argument in a meaningful way. I also like your idea of focusing on the negative effects of Ozempic instead, since there are plenty of studies and credible sources that talk about its side effects. That would make the argument much stronger and backed by science rather than just relying on common sense or assumptions.

A study published in the National Library of Medicine researched the effects of intramuscular adipose tissue (IMAT) on muscle strength and mobility. Results found that skeletal muscle lipid content is "independently associated with maximal torque production... accounting for 32-36% of the total variance in strength." This study found a clear correlation between higher levels of fat in the body and its causal loss in muscle strength. And Ozempic is a medication aimed towards lowering the blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes, not a bio-terrorist weapon. Being fatter does not make you stronger; in fact, it will make you weaker.

This is a great way to provide factual evidence on why this post is false. Great way to describe your point and why this is just purely an opinion post.

I like how you support your claim. You mentioned a specific study and data, which enhanced credibility.

With your claim stating that being fat is good for you because you are stronger and "can squish people", being overweight and/ or obese is generally not good for you - as obesity can often lead to diseases such as Type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis, and including some cancers as well, like breast or colon cancer. Now the more weight one carries can make the individual stronger than say a lighter person, as they carry more muscle with them but that doesn't necessarily mean that being super overweight or obese is overall healthy. It is true if you are heavier than someone and fall on them you will squish them no doubt, but I would instead reword your claim emphasizing the negative affects on ozempic or at least trying to be a bit more specific with an actual source to back this up.

The sources you chose for this answer were spot on. Putting an actual study in here really helped convince me that your answer is true. I also liked the fact that you included a link to the World Health Organization's thoughts on obesity because I do trust them. I also liked that you gave them a way to reword this question and focus more on the ozempic side because that has more of an argument for it than "being fat is healthy"

While some studies say that individuals with higher body mass indexes may have lower mortality rates under certain conditions—such as older age or existing health conditions—the consensus among health professionals is that obesity increases the risk of numerous diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers.

The American Heart Association, for instance, states that "obesity is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke." Similarly, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highlights that "obesity is linked to many preventable health problems."

I do like this answer because it was really convincing as a reader, but if I were to add anything I would add the link to the sources. It's not that I don't believe the CDC or The American Heart Association said those things, but I would like to have the actual link to the article that states what you quoted.

I agree with this answer because these are facts I have learned about previously, however, it would benefit the reader for you to add in some links to the sources so they could check it out themselves. You seem to be very knowledgable in this topic and even though the American Heart Association is a credible source, a quote without the proper citations might not be believed by some readers

Although it may be true that the fatter you are the stronger you are, your main claim that "being fat is good for you" is just not valid. According to the CDC, there are many health conditions that someone has a much higher risk of getting when they are overweight including high blood pressure/cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, sleep apnea, gallstones, and even strokes.

I agree with this and like how you include the risk of being overweight. Although you are stronger it does come with its major health risk. I like that you included the CDC link making it credible to back up your statement.

You bring up a very valid point. It has been proven overtime that being overweight more often than not will lead to many health issues. Your source is incredibly relevant to the topic and well cited!

I completely agree that being fatter can lead to health diseases like the ones you listed and that being fat does not mean you are healthy. However I don't necessarily think that being fatter makes you stronger and that you could of potentially re worded it to make your claim stronger.

I like that you can see both sides to this claim. Two things can be true at the same time but I like how you pointed out  the overall stamens isn't true because of the negative effects.

This source that I have provided here exactly proves the negatives of an unhealthy lifestyle.

This is a terrible take. There are no sources or facts to back up this claim. It sounds just like an opinion. Towards the end, this person even says an opinion on their thoughts.

According to the Mayo clinic being fat is not good for you because it can increase your chances with many diseases and health problems. Being fat or obese can cause heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and certain cancers. Although being fat would help you squish people easily it would also make it harder catch someone to be able to fall on them without them moving.

There needs to be more evidence provided in your statement that the fatter you are, the stronger you are. Although more mass means you can be stronger, it is not healthy for you mentally. It can cause people to become depressed or anxious, affecting their confidence.
