There is not a way to confirm that Dream's claims related to this, but there is a new color scientists have recently discovered. They were able to discover this new color was by bypassing the limits of the human eyes ability to see color. The study from Science.org, outlines how the scientists manipulated certain cells in the human eye in order to create a color never seen by humans. The outcome of the study showed how it's possible to control how humans see color in a precise way. While Dream's claim could be possibly related to this study, it is not outlined in his video where his claim was coming from. The other "Dream Green" color is completely fabricated and just for entertainment purposes.

I think you're answer is very detailed and supported by your research and findings - I also agree with what you said, because in my research on this topic of a "new color(s)" the only news regarding a new found color was the scientists in California after discovering the color they named "olo."

After going deeper into this claim I have come to the confusion that this claim is false and just basted of a video posted by the youtuber dream which is a Minecraft gamer and isn’t a reliable source. Nothing came up in the internet about new colors being discovered

This claim is false. The link to the information provided was inaccurate and not even related to what the claim was. However, I did my own research on whether any of this claim could be true, and I found an article from the Smithsonian talking about scientists who discovered a new color called 'Olo', after firing lasers into their eyes.

I agree with you, as I also found the link to the information page that was provided was incorrect and inaccurate and not at all related to the claim. Therefore, this also then led me to doing my own research which I had found a different article, but ultimately also came to the same conclusion that the only recent new color(s) discoveries has been the color "olo" found by scientists located in California.

This claim is false. There is no evidence supporting the claim, and the youtube video that is linked doesn't mention anything about discovering new colors. Although when looking into your claim I found that according to BBC News, a team of scientists at UC Berkley conducted an experiment where they used laser pulses to stimulate specific cells in the retina, causing participants to witness a blue-green color that they are calling "olo".

This claim is false. Dream did not send any researchers to the Amazon Rain Forest, the video that this user inputted as a source of evidence is a partially satire video. Dream explains how he wanted to use a new color of green to alter and change his profile photo and made an overly drawn out video about it to be funny. Yes, it is true that researchers found ONE new color, called "Olo", but there was not a second color discovered, nor was "Olo" discovered by having scientists "extract from leaves and try and invent new colors" stated by Dream in the Youtube video that the user aotta_uo provided. The color "Olo" was found by firing laser pulses into the eye while also stimulating cells in the retina. This color is only able to be seen by stimulating the retina in the eye with specific lasors, so some experts say the discovery of this new color is "up for argument" since we don't see it naturally.

I also did not find any evidence to support the claim that researchers went to the rainforest because of Dream. Scientists claim to have found colour no one has seen before" from the Guardian states, '"[w]e predicted from the beginning that it would look like an unprecedented colour signal but we didn’t know what the brain would do with it,” said Ren Ng, an electrical engineer at the University of California, Berkeley. “It was jaw-dropping. It’s incredibly saturated.” The researchers shared an image of a turquoise square to give a sense of the colour, which they named olo, but stressed that the hue could only be experienced through laser manipulation of the retina". Although aspects of the claim are supported by other findings, that doesn't mean everything stated is true. A youtuber stating that they were the reason a new color was found is biased towards them, since they gain clout from it. In this case, a youtuber simply stating something is named after them is not a reliable source of information. According to the profile of the individual who posted this claim, they have not been using this site for very long, giving them less credibility. Since this is a scientific claim, as stated by the poster, it has to be backed up by science and not just a youtuber.

This claim is false as the Youtuber "Dream" did not in fact discover a new color in the Amazon Rainforest. The link provided under the claim was a link to a youtube video and the video did not mention anything about the discovery. I searched the ID of the color and found that the color does exist and is a lighter green color. However, when I searched up the color there was no information of a recent discovery of this color.
