While it's true that the NYT recently released a report on Musk's apparent increase in drug use, there's no evidence to show that he did ketamine while in the Oval Office or when this particular Bedminster dinner clip was filmed—which the report acknowledges: "It is unclear whether Mr. Musk, 53, was taking drugs when he became a fixture at the White House this year and was handed the power to slash the federal bureaucracy."

This Daily Beast article discussing the dinner and its social media aftermath also provides no evidence that Musk was actively on ketamine at the time. The only source that appears to suggest that directly is the poster of the video, nurse and retired army medic Molly Ploofkins, who cites no evidence and whose content on X is largely anti-Musk.

There is no available information to confirm that Elon Musk used ketamine while in the Oval Office. It is true that he was present in the Oval Office during his role as a special government adviser under Donald Trump, there is no evidence he used ketamine there. A New York Times report alleged Musk used ketamine frequently during the 2024 campaign, sometimes daily, and that it affected his bladder. Musk responded by saying he had tried prescription ketamine years ago for depression but denied current use. No credible sources confirm drug use inside the Oval Office itself.
