NATO (the US) is an offensive military organization that pushed Ukraine into a proxy war with Russia. They are not the good guys.

The original primary reason for any western powers, even NATO to get involved within that war was to help defend Ukraine from invasion, not to hurt Russia. For it to be a proxy war, the main intention of NATO would have to be the invasion of Russia. NATO would have had to instigate conflict which was not the case. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/05/03/why-ukraine-isnt-proxy-war-yet/?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Russia invaded Ukraine, and Ukraine only acted in self defense in any and all military actions. Ukraine is it's own nation and it has the capabilities to defend itself with their own strategies and personnel. And they did so. For it to be a proxy war you would have to suggest Ukraine didn't have those decision making capabilities, nor the people in order to fight. https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2023-02-21/expert-comment-no-proxy-war-russia-really-invaded-ukraine

I appreciated your unbiased approach towards this issue and your very factual information. However, it was a little confusing whether you were summarizing the articles you read or sharing your own original thought. I think citing specific evidence from your sources could make your argument stronger, along with sharing how and why your sources are credible. After reading the attached articles, your information really helped me understand the topic!

No, NATO itself is an alliance whose members are committed to protecting one another from threat. Ukraine not a member of NATO but a close ally has received lots of support and funding from NATO countries claiming "NATO supports Ukraine's fundamental right to self-defense" showing their acting in defense of a threat which is Russia and their crusade for Ukraines land based on imperial entitlement. Ukraine is not the country that started the invasion. A proxy war would be a war fought between countries that aren't themselves involved, indirect military confrontation. The US specifically has sent around 65 Billion to Ukraine since the start of Russias Invasion. So with all this information we see NATO is not offensive in an anyway, the US and NATO couldn't have directed Russia to invade Ukraine so they could start a war. On the other end Ukraine only started receiving aid in 2014 when Russia initially invaded and large scale funding during Russias full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The attached original source also sounds more like Russian propaganda than anything placing blame on NATO whose job it is to protect their members.
