After reviewing my sources I came to the conclusion that this claim is indeed false and possibly miscommunicated as he was charged for a different situation. In a press article released on justice.gov they released the names of those involved in the fraudulent waivers and coach Chuancey Billups was not one of the names listed. In a news post reported by Reuters they claim, "Billups was charged in a separate case with helping to rig poker games to defraud unknowing players lured to the games with the promise of playing against celebrities, officials said. The defendants employed sophisticated technology to fix the games in New York, Las Vegas, Miami and elsewhere, including fraudulent card shufflers and x-ray tables.". Reuters is a reliable news source as that in order for them to keep running as a news source they have to have reputable news to sell to other newsroom and institutions  which incentivizes them to distribute real news oppose to fake clickbait information and this information is cited from the Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Joseph Nocella.

Billup's was arrested on October 23rd, but not for the reasons that you listed. Chauncy Billups was arrested for rigging high stakes poker games across multiple cities including Miami, Las Vegas, the Hamptons, and many more. In none of the documents it says that he was arrested for providing team injury information. On October 23rd there were just over 30 arrests for this enormous scheme involving a lot of people that represent the National Basketball Association (NBA) including Terry Rozier. This was a big shock for a lot of people across the country and makes you question how big this scheme was. So although Chauncy Billup's was arrested, those weren't the specific charges that he was arrested for.
