William and Kate have moved into a new home after having a challenging few years. The family has moved into Forest Lodge with their 3 children, moving during the school half term, and have been settling in. Their relocation was announced by their spokesperson in August saying “the Wales family will move houses later this year’’. The duo wanted to see how their children would adjust to the to the new location and the new house allows Kate and Harry to balance parenthood and royal duties.
Kate spoke to the Irish Guards at St. Patrick’s Day in March saying the new location was close enough to London. The move allows the family to be closer to Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael, who are hands on with their grandchildren.
Prince William and Princess Kate’s move to Forest Lodge means they must have increased security measures around the home and locals will no longer have access to the area. Some residents are not happy about it and a local chimed in saying it’s disappointing since many people have been walking their dogs in the park for 20 years and are no longer allowed to use part of it. However, other residents understand that the royals need safety and hope the family can live happy in the neighborhood.
