The UK has stopped sharing intelligence on multiple drug smuggling boats in the Caribbean. The reason for this being the questioned legality of the recent U.S airstrikes on other drug smuggling boats. A Downing street spokesperson commented on the situation saying that the UK and US are very close allies and continue to share information with each other. Although a UK government spokesperson refused to speak on the matter.  

The CIA and Pentagon also declined to comment on the situation. Britain has“U.K. withholds intelligence on alleged drug boats over U.S. strikes, sources say”

 territories in the Caribbean and works with the United States as well as other countries to crack down on the narcotic situation. The topic of the United States military strikes came up in a meeting with Canada from the Group of Seven industrialized democracies, fueling the rumors. Secretary of state Marco Rubio denied Britain’s end of intelligence stream, while adding the matter was never even discussed.
