Federal investigators are searching for a “disgruntled” man after he appeared at the office building of acting New Jersey U.S. Attorney Alina Habba while carrying a Basel bat. he man was reported to have shown up outside the Peter Rodino Federal Building in Newmarket on Wednesday night, but was denied entry because of the bat.
The man later returned without the bat and was allowed in after passing through the security screening successfully. He then made his way upstairs to the U.S. attorney’s office and approached the front desk. He requested to speak with Habba but was instructed to wait since he didn’t have an appointment. However, he became frustrated and left to tear win two framed pictures hanging on a wall of a public hallway, damaging the property.
