Donald Trump's claims that he has ended 6 or 7 wars since being reelected as president of the United States. White house officials say he ended the conflicts between Israel and Iran, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of the Congo, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Thailand and Cambodia, India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, and Serbia and Kosovo. Trump did initiate talks between most of these conflicting countries however to say he ended 7 wars is an exaggeration. While he ended multiple of these conflicts few of them were or should be considered wars. In the case of other conflicts like Israel and Iran, Trump has helped tensions go down but it is the belief of foreign policy experts that this will be temporary. Trump has helped deescalate many conflicts by negotiating peace talks but ending a conflict takes much longer than what he has accomplished so far. In a more realistic depiction of Trumps efforts to bring peace, Trump has ended around four conflicts, but this opinion can change based on the source.
