Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of four Republicans that joined Democrats that voted to release information about Epstein, stated that Trump is making a huge miscalculation by opposing the release of the files. She has focused on standing with the victims of Epstein, and believes that Trump is uninvolved. Hence, why she is pushing for the release of the files and is confused as to why he refuses to release.

This claim is true. While speaking with CBS News this message was conveyed by Greene. She claimed to have spoken with both Epstein involved women and their attorneys, who allegedly told her Donald Trump was not malicious and therefore she does not believe he would need to hide anything.
