I've done some research including asking Fans of Die Hard and going to websites like https://ew.com/is-die-hard-s-nakatomi-plaza-real-11861595 and many more and they've confirmed my skepticism. The original name of the building is Fox Plaza. The real building is Fox Plaza (now 2121 Avenue of the Stars) in Los Angeles, which famously stood in for the fictional Nakatomi Tower in Die Hard.
