Hello, Are you talking about the movie Die Hard? Nakatomi Plaza is fictional. I've done some research including asking Fans of Die Hard and going to websites like https://ew.com/is-die-hard-s-nakatomi-plaza-real-11861595 and many more and they've confirmed my skepticism. The original name of the building is Fox Plaza. It was Given the name Nakaomi Plaza for the movie."Nakatomi Plaza is a high-rise office building in Century City, Los AngelesCalifornia that houses the headquarters of the California branch of the Nakatomi Corporation, a Japanese company. The building used to represent it is played by the Fox Plaza building" - https://diehard.fandom.com/wiki/Nakatomi_Plaza

I really liked how you traced "Nakatomi Plaza" back to the movie Die Hard and clarified what it is, rather than leaving it as something that isn't real.

Unfortunately Nakatomi Plaza is not the name of the building in the picture. The real building is Fox Plaza (now 2121 Avenue of the Stars) in Los Angeles, which famously stood in for the fictional Nakatomi Tower in Die Hard. As Empire Magazine’s editor Nick de Semlyen said, “Nakatomi Tower became instantly iconic as a movie location,” largely because the filmmakers were allowed to shoot inside the real skyscraper and make so much action around it.

Additionally, this image and information are being shared from Bluesky, a decentralized social platform where people post screenshots and content from other apps. The migration to Bluesky has been driven by dissatisfaction with X, and many users have left because the platform “offers innovations such as customizable feeds and anti-toxicity tools,” which some see as improvements over X’s experience.

This claim is false, it is referencing the film "Die Hard" a Christmas-ish movie. The article website where this originated (REEL360) is not reliable and are known for fake news. I was bale to find an example of the fake news/ joke on a facebook page.

This is not true and it is actually referencing the movie Die Hard. In fact Nakatomi Plaza doesn't even exist in real life but only in the movie. Since this is the case is it OBVIOUSLY not possible there could be a real life shooting there. It is however a real building that exists in Los Angeles.

This news is not true in real life, this event takes place in the 1988 action movie "Die Hard" and did not actually happen. The Nakatomi Plaza is a fictonal name for the real Fox Plaza, a large building owned by 20th Centery Fox. The fact of this is false, though this event does exist inside of the classic movie.

This claim is False. At least in reality. Nakatomi Plaza is a fictional name of a building in the movie Die Hard (1988). Which is actually the Fox Plaza, also known as 2121 Avenue of the Stars [1]. Information like this floats around like this post on based around Sgt Al Powell Facebook [5] as satirical posts are posted, which could be a source of this confusion.

In the movie Die Hard (1988), there is gunfire spotted within the building. But there was no actual gunfire in the building.
