Elon Musk now allows Twitter users to pay $8 for a verified Twitter account, which is a big change from the past. Previously, much research and digging went in to each account before verifying it with the blue check mark. Now, because of this, someone created a fake Eli Lily Twitter account, and reported that insulin was now free, which was not true. This caused a panic at Eli Lily in an effort to get this tweet removed. This incident caused backlash from Twitter users as well as Eli Lily stock price dropping 4.37%. Eli Lily has also halted advertisements on Twitter, costing Twitter millions.

Interesting post, although this isn't really a claim considering what you linked is the evidence and proof of it. But, I think Elon Musk making that change so that anyone could be verified is really interesting in thinking about censorship and how it had a big impact in the world.
