NY Times opinion piece as he is praise by so many Indians as an example. But should he really be an accurate example for the middle-class Indian family children to aspire for?

This is more opinion and the source is an opinion piece, which makes it very difficult or impossible to fact-check.

I do not see him as an accurate representation of the middle-class Indian family so I don't think he should be praised by so many Indians because of that. I see him as definitely more upper class. Considering he's the prime minister of the United Kingdom, I would be surprised that he is considered middle class. Also this article in Forbes: https://www.forbes.com/sites/giacomotognini/2022/10/25/how-rich-is-rishi-sunak-akshata-murthy-net-worth/?sh=112e1a7f4dad says his net worth ($185,000 a year) which is not as much as I expected but his wife is making a lot of money because she has a lot of assets and her father co-founded a tech giant so all together they are a very wealthy family.
