Is it true that the United States did in fact land on the moon? There are lots of conspiracy theories that state it was all fake. A main reason of this is because the flag was waving in the air.

Yes. The United States did land on the moon. The article I attached debunks all of the conspiracy theories. In regard to the "flag waving in the air" this article states, "A telescopic pole has been extended along the top in order to make the flag fly proudly. Because it’s been set up like this, it appears to be waving in the wind," Ojha explains. "All the wrinkles are there because it’s literally been screwed up for four days en route to the Moon."

Great find - this link has several of the debunked popular conspiracies surrounding the moon landing. It'd be even more informative if you mention the sources explicitly in the fact-check, like "according to Royal Museums Greenwich..."

Also, Royal Museums Greenwich's explanations could be further supported by additional fact-checks on the topic. For instance, reputable media outlets have already done fact-checks on this topic: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2022/10/12/fact-check-no-buzz-aldrin-did-not-say-moon-landing-fake-apollo-11/8236597001/ https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-movie-moonlanding-idUSL1N2TG0R4
