There are people, people that have committed heinous crimes walking on this earth, having every basic need satisfied, while innocent people are paying the price.

The moral duty of society is to protect the security and wellbeing of its members. Murderers put this safety and welfare at danger. Society can only assure that convicted killers don't kill again by putting them to death.

This is a deeply morally conflicting subject for many people, and that is why some people believe it's wrong to kill someone ever, regardless of their actions. Others believe that it is just to punish someone for gruesome actions. Another group may believe its better to let the convicted killers "rot in jail" for the rest of their life and that that is a WORSE punishment than death. However, I don't think this statement can be "fact checked" as it is an opinion and there truly is no right or wrong answer.

Interesting claim. I'm curious to know what your source is for the claim. I don't recognize the passage below the title.

I agree with you. I think many people died because someone killed them. However, if the state does not have the death penalty, then the murderer is still alive while the victim is dead. It is not fair to the victim's family.

This is good commentary on your personal views, but for a fact-check we should provide an explanation or answer to the claim as well as supporting sources, and provide a rating, such as:

True
False
Exaggerated
Opinion (opinions can't be factchecked)
Misinformation
Likely misinformation
Likely not misinformation
Not misinformation

the data analyzed that six-in-ten U.S. adults support the death penalty for serious crimes. The opinions are biased based on different parties, educational degrees, and religious beliefs. People consider the death penalty as a deterrent for others who may consider committing the same crime. Retribution is also a reason people support the death penalty. For example, when a person takes away others' lives, his/her own right of living should also be deprived.

Nice finds related to why some support the death penalty and facts about the topic. I don't quite know your fact-check's outcome, so going forward try to think about how you would rate the claim (true; false; exaggerated; likely misinformation; likely not misinformation; etc.)  and then work backwards by explaining your stance and providing evidence. Also, in some cases, you will rate claims as "N/A, opinion, cannot be fact-checked." This claim seems to be more opinion-based to me.
