While it is HIGHLY unlikely that Trump will be elected again, it seems from multiple sources that he will be running again in 2024. This would be statistically unlikely to go well for him because there's only ever been 1 president to ever get re-elected for a secondary nonconsecutive term. He has been increasingly active on social media, and has put out a few statements about running again.

This should not go well for him, because of the impact he left on the country following his first term, and statistics are showing it to be unlikely for him to be re-elected do to this reason and the increasing polarization of America.

This is true, Donald Trump is running in the 2024 presidential election. Despite his legal troubles, Trump still plans to run. He launched his third bid on Nov. 15, following the 2022 midterms. "America's comeback starts right now," he said, describing the U.S. as "in decline" and touting his administration as a "golden age" (ABC news).

No, I believe that the former president does not have a chance at winning even if he makes it on the final ballot. At the end of the day, an insurrection still erupted under his watch. Even with an insurmountable number of loyal 'fans' (I am using fans intentionally here,) the GOP is doing its best to wash its hands of the fiasco that is Donald J. Trump. With the recent catastrophe that was the midterm elections, at least in the GOP's eyes, it is clear that politicians as divisive as Mr. Trump need to be left in the past. Now, one thing remains true though, when an opportunity arises someone else will take advantage; enter Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the current favored candidate of the Republican Party and a former Trump loyalists. Even if Trump is not on the final ballot, his legacy will be permanently etched in the party's politics; giving birth to a new, dangerous, form of politics.

There are some sources that put Trump slightly ahead of Biden in the election, as in the case of CNN (article quoted below) so he could win the election. However, this does not mean that what you say is false.

it seems like you gave an opinion not a fact check. I would stay away from more emotionally driven writing when conducting a fact check and stick to citing articles on the validity of the statements. To address one of the claims trump as far as we know now can run in 2024 and nothing in our legal system has barred him.

I do appreciate you voicing your opinion on the topic. When fact-checking try and refrain from engaging your beliefs and focus on the actuality of the statement. Normally, fact-checks are answered with true/false on a claim, but since this was asked as a question, the proper response would be yes or no when adding a comment.

I'm confused about the wording of this question and what's being asked. If the question is wether or not Trump is running for re-election, then the answer is yes. The Federal Elections Commission, a government agency that tracks spending by political candidates, lists him as a candidate for president. If the question is wether or not he has a chance to win, that's a question of opinion, not fact.
