According to that article, there is 2% chance of getting general ticket sales for the Eras tour before it got cancelled but then the odds increased to 5% if you chose the pre-sale. The acceptance rate for Harvard in 2022 is 4.7%. According to other sources, Ticketmaster claimed over 3.5 million people pre-registered for the Taylor's Verified Fan Sale but then only 1.5 million fans were invited to participate in the pre-sale. The other 2 million were put on a waitlist. Unfortunately, around 14 million people went on the site during the pre-sale. Taylor Swift sold over 2 million tickets. This allowed 14% of people who went on the site during the pre-sale to get tickets according to Music Business World: https://www.musicbusinessworldwide.com/taylor-swift-crashed-ticketmasters-site-and-sold-2-million-tickets-to-meet-demand-she-would-have-had-to-play-900-stadium-shows/ . However, this does not include the number of bots that bought tickets or were on the site. Out of all the people who received a verified fan link, only 14% of people got tickets. Out of all people who wanted a verified fan link, this number could be much lower.
