Chipotle is a healthier fast food choice due to their use of fresh ingredients. They also don't have as many additives in their foods. In addition to this, they are transparent about their ingredients, what is in them, and have an easy to use nutrition calculator. I used the website "Eating Well" for this information.

Nice job providing a clear explanation and stating the name of the website for your source. going forward, please provide the URL link and include a rating for each fact-check. So for this one, it might be "true, not misinformation."

I found an article from Glamour confirming that Chipotle is indeed a healthy alternative compared to other fast food chains when done right. Valerie Agymeman, a dietician, was interviewed and stated, "Chipotle is a healthier alternative because of the fresh ingredients including meats, veggies, and greens that are offered." The article also discusses that you essentially create your own meal, so you are in charge of how healthy your meal is and gives tips on how to do so. You can indeed make the meal unhealthy by adding the wrong ingredients, but overall there are many ways to make your Chipotle meal healthier than most fast food meals. Not misinformation!

Chipotle is one of the healthier options for fast food. According to health.com "To maximize your meal's nutrient content and health benefits, three essential ingredients to consider including in your order are veggies, beans, and guac. Go for as many veggies as possible, including greens as your base, fajita peppers and onions, and salsa." since the toppings are free (or no added cost) you add as many veggies and toppings as you would like. When you add more veggies you will fill up on those rather than filling up on snacks later in the day. Also, you are hitting the major food groups that you need in your meal with one meal. Since chipotle has all these benefits I would say that is likely not the misinformation.

This claim makes it seem like Chipotle is a healthy food option, and while it may be a healthier version of McDonalds, it's still not a healthy option for food. People magazine claims that "A typical order (at Chipotle) weighs in at about 1,070 calories, which is more than half the total number of calories a person is supposed to eat in a full day." This shows that chipotle is not a very healthy food option. The article also claims that the "majority of meals also contain a full day's worth of the FDA's daily recommended amount of sodium." This again proves that chipotle is not good for you. While there are some healthy options at chipotle, most people order the food that contains more calories, as stated in the article "just 25 out of 1,200 burritos in all--were under 700 calories." In conclusion, chipotle does have some healthy options, however the claim of "Chipotle is healthier than other fast food" can be misleading. Not everything on the menu is healthier, especially if you add on extra cheese, or chips and salsa.

Chipotle can be considered a healthier fast food option. However, this option is only as healthy as you make it. In an article from Glamour Washington-based dietitian Valerie Agyeman explains, "Their menu is filled with a variety of meats, veggies, and greens, which is something you usually don't find at other fast-food chains. So you can order a well-rounded meal packed with protein, fiber, and healthy fats." However, as I mentioned before it's only as healthy as you make it and thus could turn into a non-healthier meal. The article also explains how a customer could use Chipotle's Nutrition Calculator to see where their meal lands in aspects of nutrition.

Chipotle is a healthier fast-food chain if you decide to customize it that way. You can get a balanced meal out if you choose the right ingredients. Additionally, no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives are used, making Chipotle a healthier option for fast food. The website I used is called "health.com" for this information.
