This is false, due to its absence of context. Bennett certainly had a desire to broker a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine. He met both with Putin and Zelenskyy and acted as "a mediator" between the two nations, but nothing concrete came of the meetings. Therefore, there was never a deal for Western leaders to block. Later in Bennett's YouTube interview, which this tweet is most likely referencing, Bennett mentions himself that the failure to strike a peace agreement was halted by Russia's "massacre of civilians in Bucha, Ukraine"--an apparent war crime.
