This is an opinionated article and if you watch the video on the article’s page, you can see that they do initially start clapping for the Vice President. The emcee for the event says, “It’s okay, you can clap,” but the audience has already clapped and then begin to clap louder. I believe this article is just being biased towards the Vice President and is trying say that she isn’t receiving that much support, even though the video doesn’t show that.
As for the Venn Diagram, nothing is wrong with using them. They are just replaying old clips of her talking about them along with the new one, making it look like that is all she talks about, because it appears they are trying to make her look foolish. Instead of showing more of her speech, they editors decided to mainly focus on the times she said, “Venn Diagram” or referred to them. Venn Diagrams are overlapping circles that show the similarities and differences of multiple things. I couldn’t find any other articles about this event or disapproval, perhaps because it was fabricated, but I did include a link on Venn Diagrams.
