This claim is true and I find it rather surprising because Costco food court items are usually known to be extremely cheap. According to an article I read the costco hotdog is $1.50 with a large soda. This is a price point that is really rare to come by these days. I don't think costco costumers expected this expensive of an item on the menu since they are known for cheap food court items.

The claim that a new food item has been added to the Costco food court for $9.99 is true. Numerous sources report that Costco has added a $9.99 roast beef sandwich to the menu of a Costco in Washington. This has left many people surprised because this is a more expensive food item in comparison to their other products in their food court.

Nice write up. Going forward, don't forget to add ratings to your fact-checks (true, false, misleading, etc.) and try to find reputable media outlets for your sources as the NY Post isn't the most reliable source usually.

This is true. According to the New York Post, CostCo introduced a roast beef sandwich for $9.99 at a store in Lynwood, Washington. This item is controversial among CostCo shoppers because of its expensive price, especially in comparison to other menu items, such as the $1.50 hot dog and soda combo.
