What I think would make News Detective Better is more users. Before starting my Journalism 200 class, I had no idea this website existed. There needs to be some way to reach more people. Many people have no idea this website exists, and it would benefit curious people who want to learn and educate.

I think a private messaging feature would be great to go into greater depth about certain claims on a more personal basis. I also think the website looks a little outdated and could use some remodeling. You guys should also get on social media to make more people aware about the site.

This question is strictly opinion based. The only reason that I know what News Detective is, is because for my class we have to do weekly posts. Typically when it comes to websites like News Detective and/or resources that may help a student gather evidence, there are many advertisements. I feel that News Detective is sort of a hidden website. Also, I feel like the website itself is slightly confusing, there is a lot going on.

This question is opinion based.

I think navigating around the website is sometimes complicated. I think having an improved website which is more user-friendly, is easier to navigate, have a cleaner layout, and looks more colorful will be more appealing for others. Another suggestion I would add is allowing users to personalize their news feed by selecting their interests and topics they care about. Or the website could offer personalized recommendations based on users' reading history or preferences, to help them discover news stories that are relevant and interesting to them. This can improve user experience and engagement.

I believe this is opinion based, but I feel that if there was more digital awareness, perhaps even advertising done to promote users to come and join News Detective's forums, there would be more available research done to lessen the spread of misinformation.

What I think would make News Detective better and more engaging is changing the format of this website. I believe changing the website and how it looks can make more people engage in the website. When I visited this website for the first time, It was too much information and too much going on right away. I feel as people like things to be more simple and not just a website that throws a lot of information, links, and tabs right away. Finding a way to navigate the website easier might just make people want to engage more in it.

I found an article that talks about simplicity in website design. It makes it easier for visitors to understand, use, and interact with others. The purpose of this website is great, it is fun and it has a lot of potentials to become another website like Reddit where people make comments about things that are going on, etc.

One thing that would make News Detective better would be if they were promoted by big companies such as Google or Microsoft.
