This claim is true. The Justice Department has ruled that Donald Trump must turn over documents in this case.

From Cleveland, "A federal appeals court in a sealed order Wednesday directed a lawyer for Donald Trump to turn over to prosecutors documents in the investigation into the former president’s retention of classified records at his Florida estate" (https://www.cleveland.com/nation/2023/03/trump-lawyer-must-turn-over-documents-on-classified-records-court-rules.html).

From the Washington Post: "A federal appeals court has ruled that a lawyer for Donald Trump must provide notes, transcripts and other evidence to prosecutors investigating how classified documents remained at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago home months after a subpoena to return all sensitive files, according to court records and people familiar with the matter" (https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/03/22/trump-appeal-lawyer-classified-documents/)

A lot of other news sources out there are claiming this as well.

I like that you provided two sources that both support your "true" rating, and that you included relevant quotes that demonstrate that Trump's team has been ordered to turn in documents.

Yes, an order to turn over documents has been issued to one of Trump's lawyers. According to PBS News, a federal court of appeals has ordered Trump's lawyer to turn over documents that were involved in the case of Trump holding onto classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-lawyer-ordered-to-turn-over-mar-a-lago-case-documents

This is true. In "Trump attorney to testify Friday in Mar-a-Lago classified documents investigation after losing appeal", they explain that "The US DC Circuit Court of Appeals said that Corcoran must provide additional testimony and turn over documents about the former president as part of the criminal investigation into possible mishandling of classified documents." Evan Corcoran is Donald Trump's lawyer in this case, and he must turn over these documents now. This is an important update since this case has been going on for some time now.

Nice work on providing a clear and concise fact-check. Going forward, please also cite your source specifically. Re: "According to CNN, the US DC Circuit of Appeals said Corcoran must provide..." Also who is Corocoran? Next time, I would provide more details like "Trump's lawyer, Evan Corcoran" so that a reader understands the explanation fully even if they didn't click on the link you provided.
