Liam Payne and sources close to Payne have not spoken on whether or not he’s received buccal fat removal or any form of cosmetic surgery. Although cosmetic surgeons are claiming that it appears as though he has, there is no clear evidence Payne has had the procedure done, only speculation.

According to the Page Six source, after Payne “debuted a starkly slimmed-down face on the red carpet”, cosmetic surgeons pounced on the opportunity to speculate on possible causes for the new look.

An opinion article published by Vogue titled, “The Mystery of Liam Payne’s New Look Isn’t Really a Mystery at All” implies there could be several explanations behind the look including filler, botox, jaw surgery, and even suggesting the removal of his mollars could be to blame. The Vogue article as well as the Page Six article both slightly reference that his look could be a result of natural changes like age and weight loss but those references are often skimmed for entertainment purposes.

Overall, there could be many explanations for Payne’s “new look” but at the end of the day, the rumors of buccal fat removal and plastic surgery are only rumors filled with speculation and there is no real evidence backing the claim that Payne has received any cosmetic work.

This is another case of speculation. Liam Payne nor sources close to him have confirmed nor denied these speculations. Even the cosmetic surgeons in this article you posted say it may be a cause of weight loss or insulin medicine.

"Kassir concludes that although Payne’s altered face has opened the floor for speculation, his results could have been achieved by natural causes — or the popular diabetes drug Ozempic, which is commonly used for weight loss by Hollywood’s elite."

“He looks like he’s lost weight, so that [chiseled look] can happen if they lose a decent amount of weight or if they use insulin or diabetic medicines like Ozempic,” the plastic surgeon says."

The sources of this article and others posted recently are simply surgeons and others giving their opinion.

Attribute the source going forward as "cosmetic surgeons in this article" is quite vague.

This is purely speculation. All the sources I found are unable to prove wether this claim is true or false. While his face may appear thinner, it can't be proven that it was a result of cosmetic surgery. This article discusses some of the claims and speculations fans and surgeons have been making, while also showing photos of how he has changed through the years. At the end of the day this claim can't be proven true or false as Liam or any close sources to him have yet to speak on the topic.

After attending fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson's premiere of his documentary All of these Voices on March 16th, many are speculating that Liam Payne's face looks boxier and fuller than previously. Several before/after pictures have been shared with the internet:

Several plastic surgeons have weighed in on the pictures of the singer, saying it appears he has either gotten fillers in his jawline, some botox, or buccal fat removal, and he certainly looks more "chiseled" and "model-like." However, no close sources to Payne, nor has Payne himself, confirmed if he received these surgeries.
