This claim is true. After posting a photo with long time boyfriend Jake Bongiovi speculation arouse leading to the announcement earlier this month. As Lily Blomquist writer for Brides.com states:

"Brown first revealed her engagement and gave her followers a glimpse at her diamond ring two days earlier. To share the news, she posted a black-and-white photo of herself and her fiancé, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, wrapping their arms around one another on the beach. The Damsel actress captioned the photo by quoting Taylor Swift’s song “Lover.” “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey,” she wrote. “I want ‘em all.”
