Chicago Teachers Union members file unfair labor complaint against union over dues money funneled to Brandon Johnson mayoral campaign. According to the Chicago Tribune, a group of teachers alleges that the union leaders are wrongfully spending the union's dues on political reasons.

This seems to be true. According to Illinois Policy, the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) and its affiliates donated around 3 million dollars to Brandon Johnson's campaign. This was also reported by the Chicago Sun Times, who only discussed the amount donated by the CTU, which was 2.4 million.
