The statement above, supported by the Kieti Law LLP and written by their director of employment law, is misleading when claiming that Covid was a deliberate biological weapon.  It's true that a complaint was filed to the International Criminal Court (ICC) on grounds that Covid vaccines are biological weapons citing that long term affects are unknown therefore cannot be mandated by employer.  This article says that the case has been acknowledge and has not been investigated; this is backed up by another article from Logically, an online publication determined to correct misleading news stories, since it's true the complaint was filed but the recognition "appears to be purely administrative exercise," (Logically 2022).  Logically points out that anyone can submit a crime complaint, currently there are over 12,000 filed, however the ones that typically warrant an investigation to be opened are "mostly involving armed conflict and violence."

The peice from Kieti Law never claimed that the case was opened for investigation but their tone heavily implied that it would happen in the future.  They also overly celebrated the fact that the case was recognized by the ICC and using that fact to make their argument more credible when in reality that outcome was inevitable because of the standards of the ICC.

Lastly, Logically states, "contrary to what is stated in the press release, there is no evidence that Covid-19 and Covid-19 vaccines are bioweapons," likely rendering an investigation to be opened by the ICC.  Information fueling the latter article is what is feeding the conspiracy theorists.

I think fact checking something that has little evidence is difficult but you did a good job with it. I believe you did a good job at pinpointing why the initial claim that COVID was a bioweapon even came up in the first place.

The article cited above by CDH Incorporating provides many vague, general complaints by unlisted persons and little evidence. Applications for a case regarding the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine before the ICC have been filed and legal challenges have been threatened, but nothing further. Implying that the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines warrants criminal offenses in the same category as "genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity" is a serious claim that the ICC has yet to consider, proving that the headline of this claim is false. According to Reuters Fact Check, the ICC has "cautioned against the interpretation of “acceptance” in reference to the filing." They will "analyse the materials submitted, as appropriate, in accordance with the Rome Statute and with full independence and impartiality.  The first step of that process is to assess whether the communication concerns matters that are manifestly outside the jurisdiction of the Court.  As soon as we reach a decision on the appropriate next step, we will inform the sender and provide reasons for our decision,” the email said." This statement further proves that a case against the COVID-19 vaccines has not taken shape.
