While Cobain’s death was ruled a suicide, many believe his wife orchestrated his death. The most common theory around this is that Cobain was planning to divorce her, and she wanted to keep the settlement.

This is entirely speculation. There has been no concrete evidence to prove this theory that has been circulating since the 1990s. The source cited is from Reddit, not a reliable news source. It was confirmed that Kurt Cobain tragically died from suicide.

I appreciate your fact-check as it was to the point and concise. However, I feel as though this fact-check lacks important details. To improve this fact-check, I think it would be beneficial to describe the type of source this claim came from. It would also be beneficial to use more than one source for evidence to back up your argument. As Cobain died from suicide, it would be important to find evidence such as a police report to back up this claim as well.

I appreciate how your fact check got to the point and showed how there wasn't enough evidence to show if this claim was true or false. I think you could have been more specific in looking for the original police report of Cobains suicide as well as news stories that have looked into the story.
