This information has not been substantiated by any credible sources or individuals involved and remains only a rumor. There have been no reports from the Royal Palace or any reputable news sites claiming that the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is divorcing Prince William. Though there has been speculation regarding the state of their marriage and interpersonal relationships within the Royal Palace online and in the media, there is no conclusive evidence or confirmation from any of the parties involved about reported tensions, as this article theorizes. Therefore, this rumor cannot be confirmed. As for Kate Middleton’s lack of public appearances, on Jan. 17, the Kensington Palace revealed that she would be undergoing “planned abdominal surgery” according to People Magazine, Time, and other reliable sources, hence her absence and silence. Again, though there have been several rumors circulating about Kate Middleton’s condition and marriage especially in light of the photoshop controversy, they have remained only rumors thus far. Therefore, this statement cannot be confirmed as true.

I appreciate the way you approached this fact check. These rumors must be denounced for what they are, which are rumors. Nice job bringing up the photoshop controversy, which I think also leads to a lot of general confusion and misunderstanding surrounding the whole situation.
