Firstly, the source is the Heritage Foundation, which is a largely conservative think tank, and is thus biased. The article brings up a supreme court case fighting a school policy in Ludlow, Massachusetts in which parents sued because their children had been. According to the article, the policy is to "secretly promote and facilitate gender transitions without parental consent." Firstly this isn't what is explicitly written in the policy, the article is exaggerating in order to frustrate gullible people and get clicks. Schools in the U.S. (depending on state legislature) attempt to educate students on people from all facets of life (including queer people), which proves to be beneficial for potentially queer students. This is not "promotion," this is merely education. There is also no evidence that schools  "facilitate" any sort of gender transition among students. Some schools and teachers do uphold a student's potential identity, but most schools do nothing to encourage gender transition. This was disproven by CNN after former president Trump claimed something similar.
