Public Media for Central Pennsylvania is reporting that Centre Country election officials are rescanning ballots after their system experienced software issues. It does seem that the claim is true. This same story is also being reported by StateCollege.com, Penn State's university publication and a local news outlet Centre Daily Times.

The assertion that the ballot scanner in Centre County, Pennsylvania, failed to recognize mail-in ballots is unsupported by reliable evidence. The Centre County Elections Office reported no scanner issues and implemented transparency measures, including live-streaming the mail-in processing area during elections. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Department of State provides a ballot tracking system, supporting electoral integrity. Without verified reports or official declarations of scanner malfunctions, the assertion remains unproven. It's crucial to rely on credible sources and confirmed information when evaluating such claims.
