Chia seeds have been a very popular dietary addition in recent years and I have personally seen a lot about their benefits on social media like instagram and other platforms. According to a Houston Methodist article about chia seeds and chia seed water, the nutrients responsible for the benefits of chia seeds are viscous fiber (which is good for heart health), omega-3 fats (type of healthy fat that most Americans don't get enough of), and antioxidants (anti-inflammatory). Based off of the website that I have looked at and others that exist this claim is true, but I would not have used a blog post, where there is no factual evidence, to back this claim because it is just one persons experience and it could be different for other people.
