Police are still investigating a possible suspect who was responsible for setting ballot boxes on fire, burning thousands of ballots right before election day. There have been money incentives offered to find the suspect.

I would argue the phrasing "groups in Oregon" is perhaps slightly misleading — as the Portland Police Bureau is not offering a cash reward. The only group offering monetary compensation is Crime Stoppers of Oregon, who is offering $2,500 to tips leading to an arrest. Although Crime Stoppers is "in conjunction" working with Portland Fire Investigations Unit. CNN's coverage appears to be accurate.

I appreciate your commentary on the choice of the wording by the original commentary.  The wording was sensationalizing.

A great fact checking answer with identifying the group and citing the source of the reward.

I think this is a great fact check, kudos for critiquing the phrasing of the claim, I agree that it's an inaccurate representation of what's actually happening.
