The claim that “eating breakfast in the first hour of your day helps lower blood pressure” is partially correct. According to a study written about in the Parade article, eating breakfast earlier in the day can help to lower blood pressure indirectly by promoting weight loss and reducing late-night eating habits. Both of these can both help to lower blood pressure. However, the study does not show a direct link between the timing of breakfast blood pressure lowering as a result. It also does not say that breakfast timing by itself is enough to improve blood pressure or cardiovascular health.

I really like this fact check. You set up your argument in a very easy way to follow. I like the fact that you addressed that these habits can lower blood pressure but also explained how there is no direct link between them.

I like the structure of your claim and how you got straight to the point. I think it's also important to include an article or review written by a doctor or someone who has deeply studied this issue. Those articles can just better add to the credibility of your claim.

I really like this fact check. I like how you were direct, and you show where in the claim it was misleading. I appreciate that you added a link to where you got your information but maybe adding an paper from a researcher or doctor would help make your argument stronger.

I like your fact checking on this claim because you are able to give a balanced arguments on both sides. I think it was also good that you used a separate source as an accurate way to gauge how true this claim was, instead of simply judging based off the original article that was provided. It is interesting how eating earlier in the day can affect your blood sugar and insulin levels as well!

Yes, this is true if you eat a healthy breakfast. All those nutrients go to your heart which helps lower your blood pressure. This is one of the reasons they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
