After the recent election, it is clear that celebrity endorsements, even from the biggest names- Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Oprah- don't seem to make a difference in the election outcome. This New York Times article argues that celebrity endorsements not only have no impact on voters' choices, but may sway them in the opposite direction, as voters may feel disconnected from the perspectives of celebrities whom they perceive to be "elitist".

If possible, LINK TO to the place you saw the claim.

Answering

LINK TO YOUR EVIDENCE or otherwise explain the source ("I called this person, I found it in this book, etc.")

But don't just drop a link. Give an explanation, copy and paste the relevant information, etc.
