Yes although energy drinks can be bad for you. But that only comes with overconsumption of them. With most sugary drinks, snacks, and foods you have to eat them in moderation. Of course, if you feed you're body bad food then you are going to feel bad in most forms. Thats also why headaches and other health problems can also come up.

As for your source, it seems to be reliable and trustworthy so I am inclined to believe what you are writing about is the truth. This post once fact checked by its resource can be labeled as true. The article posted by the Cleveland clinic goes over side effects of drinking energy drinks for people across the board. Ranging from drinking energy drinks while on medication or even while pregnant. Regardless the topic could be more extensively researched. It was brought up in the article that while individually some ingredients seep benefits when they are all combined it could be a recipe for disaster, then the article pivoted topics and didn't delve deeper.

The Original post has some good points as that energy drinks do pose a variety of health risks from the Cleveland Clinic. After taking a look at the CDC they also list health risks such as anxiety, dehydration, insomnia, and heart complications. I'd say that energy drinks do pose a negative effect on human health and the original post does go over that, but there should be more official research behind it.

This article seems to be truthful. Almost everything that they said however is usually backed up from the same source, that being clevelandclinic.org which is a non-profit academic medical centre. Though they do pull evidence from other studies such as the affects of Black Tea and Green Tea on a person. However while energy drinks can be bad for you, the article stressed a lot about how not consuming a lot of it should significantly lower the chances of negative affects. On top of this I found other articles that seem to share similar results regarding energy drink consumptions, particularly from the CDC who goes into more detail.

Thanks for taking the time to explain this. Since the Cleveland Clinic is non-profit it is doubtful they would release false health information since they do not gain anything from such. It would be helpful if you explained what exactly the evidence is that they found. Along with this elaborating more on what the CDC found, so the reader is able to get more information about this claim.

The claim that "energy drinks are bad for you" can be proven to be true as the facts are backed up in the article. Throughout the article it provides information on the kind of negative effects that drinking energy drinks can have on peoples' health. The article also compares coffee and energy drinks, providing information that shows that coffee is a healthier option than energy drink. The article also does a good job of providing some healthier alternatives in hopes of bettering peoples' health. This information can be backed by the CDC with the statement that, "[energy drinks] can  increase blood pressure, heart rate, and breathing.; the stimulants in these drinks can have a harmful effect on the nervous system." (CDC). As shown in the quote the information from the CDC proves that energy drinks have negative effects on peoples' health. So, the claim that "energy drinks are bad for you" is proven to be true with information backed up from multiple sources.

This statement is in fact true, consuming energy drinks everyday affects lack of dehydration, heart complication and anxiety. Energy drinks are supposed to give you more alertness and energy even more when you feel tired, they tend to have large amounts of caffeine inside. Many children ages 12-17 who drank rebels regularly often went to the emergency room there was about 1,499 cases in 2011. I found this information in this article energy.htm . Then I found a more recent article that explains what energy drinks have inside, the health risk and tips on healthier ways to get more energy.  are-energy-drinks-bad-for-you

I believe that there is truth behind this statement, but there are some outliers that need to be addressed. While the article does make some good points regarding the harmful nature of energy drinks, their arguments mainly relate to overconsumption of these drinks. You could argue that any form of beverage that is ingested at an immense rate can be detrimental to your health. So, while this statement is partially true, there needs to be some narrowing down when it comes to the bad effects of caffeine.
