This claim is true. Nintendo has sued a man in Colorado for pirating several unreleased Nintendo games and streaming them ahead of release, even encouraging and teaching viewers how to pirate the games themselves. This article includes a copy of the lawsuit that Nintendo released in regards to them suing the Colorado man.
