I dont believe its that people dont want to date anymore its that they haven’t had luck finding a genuine connection. People are more disconnected than ever especially with the rise of internet usage. Many people have had trouble socializing and connecting so dating is a lot more difficult than it used to be.

Some researchers argue that many single adults do not desire romantic relationships. They say that a significant number of single individuals, particularly in the United States, would prefer to remain single, at least in the near term. They say this is because of the new prioritization of personal goals over those old-fashioned expectations of dating and mating. A 2022 survey by the dating service OKCupid, for example, found that 72% of those questioned and claiming to be currently single rather enjoyed the independence part of their status.

I agree! I think a lot has changed in people's lives that can be affecting this. I found this article from Forbes that lists some reasons why this might be happening, but also found that there are still a ton of people who are interested in romantic relationships.

So do you rate the claim as true? False? Other? I couldn't quite figure it out based on your fact-check and you didn't select a rating!

This is a great source that you found with credible research to back it up. However, what is YOUR answer to this claim? What rating would you give the fact-check based on the evidence? I know you found that some researchers claim that people do not want to date, but what about researchers who claim that people still do?

The source you used is very credible, although I do think it's important to include more than one source to back up your claim. I do think you could've made your opinion more clear as well. A lot of time it helps to make a clear claim because your evidence will be more apparent that way. Overall you brought up very good points that I think are super important.
