The claim that the U.S. government and Hillary Clinton "hid and harmed 300,000 undocumented children" is not accurate. While the U.S. government has faced criticism for its treatment of undocumented minors, especially regarding family separations and detention, there is no evidence supporting the specific number of 300,000 children being "hidden and harmed." Hillary Clinton, as Secretary of State, wasn't directly involved in domestic immigration policies, but she has supported immigration reform and protections for undocumented children. This claim appears to be exaggerated or based on misinformation. The source linked with the claim is just a twitter comment, not reliable at all and doesn't have any evidence. As I looked for articles about this topic, I was unable to find anything that was reliable and related to how they were hiding and harming 300,000 children. However I was able to find what her views and stands are on immigration when she ran for president back in 2016, and what she would do to control it. One of her points was, "Immigration enforcement must be humane, targeted, and effective. Hillary will focus resources on detaining and deporting those individuals who pose a violent threat to public safety, and ensure refugees who seek asylum in the U.S. have a fair chance to tell their stories." There are a lot more facts and plans in the article below. Overall this claim was extremely false with no evidence provided.

You did an excellent job pointing out the lack of evidence and explaining Hillary Clinton's role and stance on immigration. Your fact-check is clear and well-reasoned, making it easy to understand why the original claim is false. I also appreciate how you highlighted the importance of using reliable sources and provided context about Hillary Clinton's views on immigration. This adds depth to your analysis and helps readers see the bigger picture.

This claim is false. By using key terms from this title like "Hillary Clinton hiding undocumented children," "us government and Hillary Clinton undocumented children," and "Did Hillary Clinton hurt 300,000 undocumented children" I was not able to find any articles from any sources - credible or not credible - had any information about this topic. The link above is from an online chat board and does not have information or evidence, only a claim.

I like this fact check. You gave the keywords you searched and told us how you found no sources, regardless of credibility, that backed this up. You also made a good point that the original source isn't reliable either which shows this claim is false.

This claim is completely false and made up. I was not able to find any sources or articles stating that this was even a topic or issue. The article that is above is from a social media service called Bluesky and isn't a reliable source at all. It is a social media platform where anyone can post comments or takes on any issue they want to. I looked into the author of this post that said Hillary Clinton harmed 300,000 undocumented children and they are posting crazy posts that aren't backed up by sources or credible people.

While this fact check was not able to find any evidence disproving the initial claim it does a good job of deconstructing the initial claim made. This fact check did a good job in pointing out that this was a baseless claim made by user of a social media site. It should also be noted that "magacolonizer" may not be the best source of information on a claim about Hillary Clinton.
