Hi there! This claim is partially true. Vito definitely won "Best in Show," given the sheer amount of reputable sources (NPR, New York Times, and CNN) that reported on Vito's win (and the significance of a pug win). Additionally, the Purina Pro Club (the sponsor of the National Dog Show) wrote extensively about Vito's win. Therefore, that section is not misinformation! With that said, pugs have won the title before. CNN writes that this is the "first time a pug has won the title in at least two decades." So, this claim is partially true.
