Trump's election could lead to a federal pornography ban, which also bans "obscene" art, according to Project 2025.

Trump himself has not explicitly proposed banning pornography. This was proposed by the authors of Proposed 2025, but this is not associated by Trump's campaign.

"Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, has warned Americans about “Trump’s Project 2025” agenda — even though former President Donald Trump doesn’t claim the conservative presidential transition document."

Since the plan that proposes a porn ban is not directly associated with Trump, it is unlikely that it will happen.

While Trump spent much of his campaign distancing himself from Project 2025, a blueprint and initiatives started by the Heritage Foundation, he has since chosen members of his staff who are associated with the project(https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2024/12/03/us/politics/trump-cabinet-administration-picks.html). It is true that Project 2025, in its own published documents written by its president stated(https://static.project2025.org/2025_MandateForLeadership_FOREWORD.pdf) "Pornography should be outlawed," citing the "the omnipresent propagation of transgender ideology and sexualization of children." And so, it is a possibility that under a Trump presidency, the definition and restrictions around "obscene" material could be challenged as defined in the 1971 Supreme Court case of Miller v. California(https://www.oyez.org/cases/1971/70-73) in a similar manner of how Roe v. Wade was overturned, allowing individual states to set up their own guidelines and definitions.
