Though some commentary suggests Drake is no longer at his peak or in “top form,” they stop short of saying his career is finished. For example, one writer said: "All of Drake’s efforts still might not be enough to make the world forget about ‘Not Like Us,’ but it doesn’t mean his career is over, either."

Also, from an outside perspective, “Drake will probably never be done… but his attitude… shows a tired, hurt and unexcited … he is lost in the last decade.” (The Scribe - UCCS student newspaper.) These suggest decline or challenge, not total collapse.
Saying “Drake’s career is over” is exaggerated. He remains a major force, continues to release music, and has a strong legacy. That said, there is an argument that his “peak era” might be behind him. It’s more accurate to say his career is entering a new phase, not that it's ended.
