People are outraged about "gallows" set up on Jan. 6 for supposed executions, at a protest where the only injury was an unarmed protestor shot by an out-of-control cop.

It is true that people were outraged by the actions of individuals involved with Jan 6th. 

The Pew Research Center found: "Americans expressed shock, horror and anguish over the riot at the Capitol, but partisan divides were clear even in the first days after Jan. 6. "

However, one protestor does not account for all injuries on Jan 6th. The Department of Justice published that "Approximately 140 police officers were assaulted January 6 at the Capitol, including about 80 from the U.S. Capitol Police and about 60 from the Metropolitan Police Department. "
