Pfizer has been a crucial player in eradicating diseases in the medical field, including the development of a vaccine to fight against the infamous smallpox. Back in 1882, according to an article by the Wall Street Journal, "Pfizer developed a smallpox vaccine at the company’s Lancaster County Vaccine Farm. By 1915, the drugmaker was manufacturing a million doses of the vaccine per week, and new technologies, such as Pfizer’s bifurcated needle and temperature-stable formulations, ultimately helped in the successful effort to eradicate smallpox globally" (Wall Street Journal). For over a century, Pfizer has helped to eradicate major diseases such as smallpox and polio with groundbreaking technology and vaccines. Recently, Pfizer was one of the main companies that aided in the fight against Covid-19 with vaccines and boosters. Moreover, the source you linked is likely not credible and also claims that Pfizer has found no 'cures'. However, in most cases, there is rarely a complete cure for every disease, rather vaccines aim to aid the bodies' fight against a disease as well as eradicate its spread. For several diseases, Pfizer vaccines have done this. Though Pfizer has benefitted economically from their creations, their work should not be discredited as a result.

Hello! Besides the post's misspelling of Pfizer, the company credits itself with the eradication of smallpox in 1980. Additionally, this is corroborated by a WSJ article as well. So while there may be profiteering, the company did get rid of diseases.
