Hello! Besides the post's misspelling of Pfizer, the company credits itself with the eradication of smallpox in 1980. Additionally, this is corroborated by a WSJ article as well. So while there may be profiteering, the company did get rid of diseases.

Additionally, the claim of prioritizing profit over health is misleading, as prices of medical care and treatments are decided at a national level; hence, Pfizer sets prices by listening to Congress and the United States Department of Health.
